Nursery Teaching Assistant Role:
- 1:1 and group support
- Supervising children’s play time
- Assisting children during meal and snack time
- Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils stay on task
- Creating resources for lessons
- Social and emotional support
- Helping with school trips, events and outings
The School:
This Infant School located in Cambridgeshire provides an exciting and challenging journey of discovery, filled with opportunities to unlock individual talent and potential. The school develop independent learners and thinkers who are confident and well prepared to become responsible and reliable adults. In the schools latest inspection, OFSTED commented that pupil’s wellbeing and attitudes towards learning are very strong. Additionally, the mentioned that nearly all pupils behave very well in lessons and at break times. They are polite, caring and tolerant of the needs of others, and demonstrate high levels of respect towards everyone in the school.
Ideal applicants are those with Early Years experience, as well as 1:1 support experience within mainstream primary education. If you have previously supported pupils with SEN including ASC, SEMH, GDD or ADHD then please do apply for this position.
