Numeracy Mentor
Due to a number of pupils within the school being recognised as falling behind their target grade, we are currently seeking a Numeracy Mentor to join the Maths department after half term to assist in raising attainment and supporting the pupils on a 1:1 and group basis.
- Full time position as a Numeracy Mentor supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis
- Get paid up to £70 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities of the role
- Opportunity for additional working hours, with out of school tuition available
- Further training available through Teaching Personnel's extensive CPD courses.
You will be working at a large secondary school in Oldham with excellent modern state of the art facilities throughout, providing excellent provisions for teaching and learning throughout. The majority of the tuition would occur on a 1:1 basis outside the classroom, however the position would also involve some group teaching, both within and outside of the classroom.
Previous experience working in a similar Numeracy Mentor role would be preferred, however we would consider applications from individuals with similar experience or recent Math graduates seeking further experience in a secondary school environment before enrolling on a PGCE or similar teacher training programme.
To be considered for this position reply to this advert with a recent CV and a cover letter outlining any relevant experience or contact us at the Manchester Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel today.
