Learning Support Assistant – SEN Primary Schools
Location: Havant
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time or Part-time | School Hours | Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to work within SEN primary schools in the Havant area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for rewarding work during school hours.
About the Role:

Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.

Delivering 1:1 support and assisting with small group interventions.

Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning plans.

Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.

Assisting with personal care where required (if applicable to the setting).
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, coaching, or similar).
-
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience.
-
Be confident supporting children with additional needs.

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
Be available during school hours and ready to start ASAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
