Job description

COVER SUPERVISOR- FLEXIBLE HOURS- SOLIHULL BASED SECONDARY SCHOOL- B92 - ASAP START

 

One of our fantastic mainstream secondary schools based in Solihull is seeking a flexible but reliable cover supervisor to work on an ad-hoc basis, supporting across various classes within the school.

The school has excellent behaviour and a really strong community feel. 

 

The ideal candidate will:

- have previous experience working as a cover supervisor

- strong behaviour management skills

- excellent classroom presence and commands a classroom effectively

- be flexible and available to work at least 2 days per week (Mon-Fri)

- be professional, engaging and pro-active

 

The role of the cover supervisor is integral in schools to provide continuity of learning for pupils.

 

 

You will need to:

- confidently deliver pre-set lessons to a range of year groups

- cover various subjects across the curriculum

- provide academic support where required

- maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment

- report any issues to senior leaders within the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
