Exam Invigilator – Salford
Flexible Hours | Term-Time & Exam Seasons
Academics are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Salford during key exam periods throughout the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience while helping ensure a calm, organised environment for students sitting their exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during exams in accordance with official exam regulations
- Prepare and set up exam rooms before each session
- Check attendance and maintain a focused, supportive atmosphere
- Provide assistance for students with additional needs, including 1:1 support where required
- Collect, organise, and return completed exam papers and documentation
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow clear procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work mornings and/or afternoons during exam periods
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
