Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently experiencing exceptionally high demand from secondary schools across the Tameside area, prompting us to offer a Guaranteed Work Scheme for reliable supply teachers. With local schools urgently needing flexible cover from now through June, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent work in your area.

We are looking for teachers from any subject background who can offer flexible cover on a day to day or short term basis, with opportunities available in and around Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Denton, Hyde, Droylsden, Dukinfield and Werneth.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers and ECTs looking for fully flexible work—from 1 to 5 days per week—during our busiest period, with potential for long term placements.

Role Details

Role: Supply teacher (any subject specialism)

Location: Tameside and surrounding areas

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Fully flexible – choose the days you want to work

Pay: £140 – £170 per day for short term cover (£700 - £850 per week)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
