Learning Support Assistant – SEN Primary Schools
Location: Farnborough
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full-time or Part-time | School Hours | Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support SEN primary schools across Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work during school hours while making a real difference in children’s lives.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, and SEMH).

  • Supporting learning activities both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and interventions.

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (school-based, care, youth work, nursery, or similar).

  • Experience supporting SEN is desirable but not essential.

  • A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Availability during school hours.

  • Able to start ASAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
