Teaching Personnel are recruiting an NQT Teacher to work with a school that caters for pupils aged 16-25 with severe special educational needs. The school’s focus is to provide their pupils with the necessary skills to live a full and independent life. These skills include time management, budgeting, functional skills and employability.

This is achieved inside a brand-new campus. The new facilities consist of five new classrooms, a large hall space, personal care facilities, a kitchen area and a large outdoor area for horticulture. If you wish to join this team you should: Your role would be to create lesson to meet the learner’s needs. This would include a curriculum based around academic and social progression.

You would create lessons aimed to allow the young people to express themselves in a practical and easy way, as well as design tasks to help the young people succeed in their lives beyond the school.

• Have NQT status or working towards to it this academic year.

• Have experience of working with SEN/willingness to train

• Be a calm and patient personality

• Be committed to making a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
