About the Role
As part of the Maths team, you will:
- Teach motivating, well‑planned Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver a curriculum that builds confidence, problem‑solving skills, and a genuine interest in mathematics
- Use assessment to identify strengths and areas for support, adapting your teaching accordingly
- Foster a classroom atmosphere where all learners feel valued and able to succeed
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve and develop the curriculum
- Play an active role in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

Who They’re Looking For
The ideal applicant will be:
- A qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (or an ECT close to gaining it)
- Confident teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
- Someone with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
- A teacher who sets high expectations and plans engaging, purposeful lessons
- Reflective, open to feedback, and committed to team working
- Able to build positive, supportive relationships with students of all abilities
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Ability to teach KS3 & KS4 confidently
- A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
