National Tutoring Programme

National Tutoring Programme – Online teaching available for Secondary schools in London.
Rate: GBP25 - GBP35 per hour.
Teaching Personnel are a approved National Tutoring Programme (NTP) partner providing sustained tuition to disadvantaged students who have been impacted by the Covid-19 school closures.
We are now looking for experienced teachers and tutors to help provide this support to secondary aged students located in London – as this work is online, you can be located across the London area.
Successful tutors will be required to deliver tuition programmes (15 hours per pupil) in the following KS3 & KS4 subjects:
- English
- Maths
- Science
- Humanities
- Modern Foreign Languages
Tuition will be delivered 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 online, however some schools might potentially request staff to provide face to face tuition.
All Tutors will need to complete an NTP Tutor Onboarding Pathway including completion of a minimum of three modules on our Effective Tuition CPD Course, a Safeguarding Level 2 qualification and induction to the relevant tech – Teaching Personnel will be able to provide guidance on how to apply for these qualifications.
To apply for these NTP bookings applicants must:
- Be located in London (should schools enquire about face to face tuition)
- Have experience tutoring one or more of the relevant subjects at KS3 & KS4 level.
- Be a qualified teacher, graduate or experienced teaching assistant.
- Be available to deliver regular consistent tuition.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
