Pay: £95 – £140 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

With increasing demand across schools, we are looking for reliable and confident individuals who can step into classrooms and supervise pre-set work across a variety of subjects. These roles are ideal for individuals seeking flexible work, experienced cover supervisors, graduates considering teaching, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors, or those with previous experience working with young people.

Schools are looking for staff who can build positive relationships, manage behaviour confidently, and adapt to different school environments.

 

Your Role

  • Deliver and supervise pre-set lessons across KS3 & KS4

  • Maintain a calm and productive classroom environment

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Support students with engagement and learning

  • Work flexibly across different secondary schools

 

We’re Looking For

  • Confident communicators with strong classroom presence

  • Experience working with young people desirable

  • Flexible and adaptable approach

  • Reliable individuals available for short-notice work

  • Behaviour management skills and resilience

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
