Join a dynamic secondary school with a track record of providing excellent opportunities for staff and pupils in the new term.

Due to an internal promotion, there is an opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to join a welcoming staff team from Easter 2020 or earlier.  This opportunity will include taking on full planning, marking assessing responsibilities.

  • Full time Music Teacher required – Easter 2020.
  • Bolton based secondary school, close to public transport links!
  • Teaching Music up to KS4 level
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490.

Music is extremely popular amongst pupils across KS3 and KS4 and has recently been newly refurbished, boasting access to modern equipment based within state of the art facilities. As the incoming Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing engaging and challenging lessons to a range of learners, in line with national curriculum for Music (1-9). You will also be required to increase and develop pupil knowledge of composing, performing and understanding Music through creative lessons.

The school currently serves just over 1000 pupils aged 11-16 and is easily accessible via the M61 motorway and the surrounding areas; Bury, Preston and Wigan. There is also a variety of public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
