- Full time Teacher of Music required from September 2021
- Required until December intially with the outlook to permanent contract
- ‘Good’ secondary academy in Darlington
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client school in Darlington for a KS3/KS4 Music teacher. The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching both KS3/KS4 music curriculums as well as planning and delivering both practical and theory lessons to a range of low and high ability students. You will be dedicated and enthusiastic about your subject as well as passionate about bridging the gap between disadvantaged students and their peers. This highly successful music department has a proven track record of excellent results and wish to continue this for the next academic year.
The school is currently smaller than average in terms of student numbers, with expansion planned across the next two years. The Principal is passionate about the Continued Professional Development (CPD) of all teachers, in particular those new to the profession (NQTs) and so would encourage them to apply. Weekly CPD sessions are held, with fantastic feedback being received consistently.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
