The School

A "GOOD" secondary school in the Ilford area is seeking a Music Teacher to work full-time teaching KS3 and KS4 Music to classes of up to 30. The position is ideal for an established music teacher or NQT music teacher.

The school has modern facilities and generally good behaviour amongst its pupils. The music department is full of helpful members who are ready to welcome a new member to their team. Music is a popular subject for students all the way up to A-Level.

Requirements

• Possess a "child only" DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (£44).
• Ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE etc.)
• Ideally have a degree or similar qualifications in Music or similar subject.
• Have experience teaching music to a class of 30 at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Have a passion for teaching music and the ability to educate and motivate pupils so that they achieve their full potential.
