The successful candidate will be expected to be resident in school during term times and will be provided with self-contained accommodation on site for this purpose. • To help ensure that the House is a safe and healthy environment
• To take responsibility in the event of a fire alarm, if the Head of Boarding is absent
• To have a presence around the school commensurate with the role.
• To be flexible and assist with other tasks in the school as necessary and when requested.
The school is a small, coeducational, day and boarding school for pupils aged 3 to18 located in a quiet village outside of York. It boasts a proud history, and currently it has some 200 pupils. There is a strong emphasis on first class pastoral care.
