Due to an unexpected gap within their Maths department, this multi cultural school located on the outskirts of Bolton wish to appoint a Maths teacher on a long term temporary basis ahead of the New year.

The head of department wishes to appoint a talented Maths teacher who holds a proven record of raising pupil attainment. The successful applicants will be required to plan and deliver engaging practice to both KS3 and GCSE pupils. It is essential that all applicants wishing to be considered for this role hold UK QTS.

The school is an 11-16, mixed community comprehensive school situated on the border of Bolton and Wigan within Bolton Council's boundaries, a short drive from the M61. The school holds excellent facilities and has around 1100 pupils on roll. Exam results in the department have improved in recent years with them achieving results in line with the national average. The department has excellent facilities and you will have access to state of the art ICT equipment and modern resources in classrooms. The HOD is highly experienced and promotes the department planning lessons together and sharing creative ideas.
