An 'Outstanding' secondary school in Chorley are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to cover a Maternity leave from October 2019 until October 2020. You will be teaching KS3/4 Maths full time, following the AQA specification.

The school pride themselves of academic excellence, so are currently looking to recruit the best teacher possible, whether you are an NQT or an experienced teacher. The position start in October and you will be teaching Mathematics to KS3 & KS4, following the AQA GCSE Specification.

It is noted that the highest expectations and aspirations are key features for a successful school life at the school, and have high expectations when it comes to their staff. Feedback from Teaching Personnel's staff that have previously worked at this school, have said that they instantly felt like part of the school, and that they were thoroughly inducted and looked after during their time there.

You will be provided with:

  • Laptop Computers
  • Dedicated staffroom
  • CPD Training
  • A silent staffroom dedicated for work
  • Onsite fitness suite

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a degree in Maths or a Maths related subject
  • Have QTS or be an NQT
  • Be an excellent practitioner and be able to become an outstanding teacher
  • Be fluent in the use of ICT for learning, teaching and administration
