Tutor – NG5, Nottingham

Location: NG5, Nottingham
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

About the Role

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated and experienced Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across NG5, Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in reaching their full potential through personalised learning.

The Role

As a Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions in core subjects.

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.

  • Support pupils in subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Build positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement.

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback following each session.

What We're Looking For

✔ A minimum of 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
✔ Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
✔ Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
