GCSE Tutor – Nottingham (NG10)

Location: NG10, Nottingham
Position: GCSE Tutor
Hours: Flexible, Part-Time
Pay Rate: £25–£30 per hour
Funding: Local Authority Funded

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GCSE Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition for a student in the NG10 area of Nottingham.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support a learner in achieving their academic goals through personalised tuition tailored to their individual needs. Sessions will focus on building confidence, improving subject knowledge, and preparing the student for GCSE examinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective GCSE tuition on a one-to-one basis.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the student's learning needs and academic targets.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Develop the student's confidence, motivation, and independent learning skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students.
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more GCSE subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience preferred.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
