English Tutor – NE38, Northumberland

Location: NE38, Northumberland
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

Are you passionate about helping children and young people succeed?

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated English Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across NE38, Northumberland. You'll help students build confidence, improve their English skills, and reach their academic goals through personalised support.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 English tuition sessions.

  • Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual needs and learning style.

  • Support students with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and exam preparation.

  • Adapt teaching to suit learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

What We're Looking For

✔ Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience working with Primary and Secondary learners.
SEN experience is essential.
✔ Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
