We're looking for a passionate Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in the NE44, Northumberland area. If you enjoy helping students develop essential English and Maths skills in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Monday to Friday
School hours

Your Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Functional Skills English and Maths sessions.
Provide one-to-one or small group tuition tailored to individual needs.
Support learners in developing confidence and practical skills.
Track progress and adapt lessons to maximise achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

✅ We're Looking For

Experience delivering Functional Skills or supporting learners in English and Maths.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
