Are you passionate about teaching Maths in secondary schools?

Are you looking for a position that will offer support, training and real opportunities of progression?

The Head Teacher is seeking a full time Maths Teacher to join the school in September, or sooner if possible to deliver KS3 and GCSE Maths. The incoming Maths Teacher is required to be a passionate and dynamic individual, capable of delivering inspiring and engaging Maths lessons to the pupils and truly inspire them to reach their capabilities. This role would suit an experienced Maths Teacher seeking a new position to pass on their experience, or a Newly Qualified Maths Teacher seeking their introduction to their first position in a Maths department that can offer the support and guidance for them to progress and become an excellent established Maths Teacher within this school, with many opportunities for career progression available.

The department currently consists of 8 Maths Teacher and the current Head of Department is seeking an additional Maths Teacher or Newly Qualified Maths Teacher to join the school to help support the growing needs of the school. The school is a modern secondary school based in Rochdale with state of the art facilities throughout, with the incoming Maths Teacher being able to benefit from excellent teaching and learning provisions within the department. Being located a short distance from major public transport links to the City Centre, the school is easily accessible, with free on site staffing provided for those who drive.

-          Full time position teaching Maths to KS3 and GCSE level in a supportive Maths department

-          Working within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school in Rochdale with state of the art facilities

-          Paid a competitive wage in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS) and responsibilities undertaken

-          Further development opportunities available through training within the school and additional CPD courses
