Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a passionate Maths teacher who can work for a full calendar year from January to December. The Maths teacher will be working on a full time basis for a secondary school based in the Trafford area. You will be working in a single gender secondary school which has been graded GOOD by Ofsted. As a maths teacher you will support students at Key Stage 3 & 4 ensuring they receive engaging lessons in their maths studies.
Highlights of the Maths Position:
**Full-time Maths teaching position from January to December
**Teaching KS3 & KS4 with highly engaging students at a GOOD graded school
**Paid on the Qualified Teacher scale ranging between £23,720-£39,406
**Collaborating with a supportive Maths department to learn and develop from
**Walking distance from local Train and bus stops with an on-site staff carpark
As a maths teacher you will need to create an interesting environment for students to be motivated in their maths classes. The pre-planned lessons will need to be at a high standard as the school prioritises their teachers to be organised. Throughout your full working year, you will work in partnership with the supportive maths department, especially when working with Key Stage 4 students. You will be supporting students towards the end of the academic year with their GCSE exams. As a Full-time Maths teacher you will be expected to attend department meetings and parent's evenings.
The Trafford based secondary school is just off the M60 motorway and has car parking for their staff. If you use public transport there are regular buses and trains which are at a walking distance from the school. The school has an established Maths department to develop your teaching skills from as well as continuous CPD opportunities.
