Large secondary school situated in the SK14 post code graded “Good” by Ofsted requires a Maths teacher after a recent internal promotion. This is a full time Maths teaching post commencing in January to the end of the academic year teaching Maths across KS3-KS4.

The school has over 900 pupils, 48% of who use English as an additional language. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Maths teacher or experienced Mathematician currently looking for a long term position in January.
The school is accessible via a close by train station and bus routes directly outside. In 2015 the school achieved a “Good” grading overall with pupil behaviour and engagement.

In 2016 49% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades including Maths. The Maths department are looking for a Maths teacher who will submerge themselves in the department ethos and culture and show a willingness to take on full timetable responsibilities.
Essential criteria for the successful Maths teacher;
• QTS in Maths
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3-KS4
• Passion for Mathematics that will engage students in their learning of the subject
