Are you an experienced teacher of Maths? Are you available immediately?
A client secondary school in central Nottingham are requring a teacher of Maths to join the department ASAP until atleast Christmas.
The permanent member of staff has just been signed off on short term sickness and the school are needing a qualified Maths specialist to step in and cover in the interim.
The department consists of large team of KS3, KS4 and KS5 specialists who work hard to achieve a good atmosphere where staff work in collaboration with one another, support one another’s CPD and share work load. As a member of the Maths team, you will be required to participate in the all inclusive enrichment programme they offer every student, a programme of which they are proud of.
To be considered for the role you should:
- Have UK QTS with a good first degree in a Maths related subject
- Have expert knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Have a good sense of humour, be able to build excellent relationships with staff and students alike
- Be an excellent communicator and be adaptable to provide an all inclusive mathematical programme
- Have excellent classroom management skills demonstrating good pace, progress and reflective learning
