Due to an upcoming vacancy at our client school, Teaching Personnel are looking for an inspiring, energetic and well-qualified teacher of Mathematics to join our vibrant client school's Maths department from September. They will join on a full time basis from September and will take responsibility of a full time timetable across a range of age groups and abilities. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to raising standards of attainment across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and is able to deliver engaging lessons across all key stages. The successful candidate will be passionate about engaging young people in their learning, particularly those who have become disengaged.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have QTS or equivalent
  • Have prior experience of delivering Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning and a desire to help students achieve their full potential
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to form positive relationships with students and staff

Our client school is a large thriving 11-18 secondary school with a large sixth form located in South Manchester. With just under 1000 pupils on roll, the school serves the diverse community of Central and South Manchester. The school has a team of spirited, supportive and committed staff who are committed to ensuring that all students achieve academic success. The school had an excellent Ofsted report that judged the school to be Good in all areas including leadership and management, behaviour of pupils and over all achievement of pupils.
