Maths / PE Teacher required for Hampshire based secondary school

(MPS/UPS) - September start - Ofsted 'Good' - NQT/Experienced Teacher - KS3 to KS5 Maths and PE

Are you a qualified teacher with the ability and skill set to teach both subjects to KS4? Are you looking for variation in your timetable? Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Hampshire who require a talented and diverse teacher who can turn their hand to both of these popular subjects within this school. Due to the split across subjects, full time applicants are desirable, although a job share will be considered for those outstanding applicants.

About the school -

  • The School is located on the coast of Hampshire. Local transportation links are excellent with a short drive to the motorway, a 12 minute walk from the train station and a short walk into town the multiple bus routes
  • The school was recently inspected by Ofsted and they achieved a 'Good' grade. Teachers have high expectations of students and staff work hard to develop their skills to continually progress the results of the pupils
  • Pupils behave well around the school and in lessons. In their Ofsted report, it was noted that pupils are well aware of their expectations and feel teachers and sanctions are fair
  • Staff morale is high. Staff are proud of the progress made over the last year and are very supportive of leaders' initiatives

About the role -

  • This is a full time role that will lead to a permanent appointment for the right candidate
  • The school are looking for a teacher who has the ability to teach both Maths and PE (Edexcel specifications) for both subjects including theory PE if the Teacher is able
  • The successful candidate for this role must be energetic and be able to work well as part of a team, sharing ideas and planning in both departments
  • It is essential that applicants have superb subject knowledge and is able to use their teaching skills to help students of all abilities progress
