Our client school located in Bolton wish to appoint a number of Maths intervention teachers who can provide tailored tuition to pupils preparing for summer examinations.

The school wish to appoint a number of temporary Maths intervention teachers who can support their pupils and assist them in achieving their expected grades.

-          Part time Maths Intervention teacher role – After school tuition

-          Applicants must hold QTS and have experience delivering both KS3 and GCSE Maths intervention support

-          Outstanding Church of England secondary school located on the border of Bolton and Bury

-          Working with individual pupils on a 1:1 basis

-          2 – 4 days tuition after school (3.45pm until 6pm) until the end of the examination season (End of June)

-          Attractive rates of pay GBP20 - GBP30 per hour.

Due to upcoming examinations this is an excellent opportunities to work within a secondary school on a temporary basis. The Maths department are looking for 1 to 2 tutors to provide additional intervention sessions to pupils who aren’t currently tracking to hit their target grades.

Within this role you will be provided with full support to identify gaps in pupils learning along with full resources to plan and deliver sessions around the pupils needs. The Head of Maths will give full support within this role and assist with tracking pupil progress following sessions.

Located on the border of Bolton and Bury, this school is a larger than average school with over 1100 pupils on roll, and serves a wide catchment area with students coming from Bolton and beyond to attend.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
