Male Teaching Assistant needed in Bradford

Date posted : 14/06/18
£55 - £70 per day + Refer a friend

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

As a teaching assistant you will be offering support to pupils in a class alongside a fully-qualified teacher. This support may be on a one-to-one basis with a particular child or just general in class support.

The roles we have available are both full time and part time.

The expected pay rate for a Teaching Assistant is between £55-70 a day dependant on experience.

Previous experience within a class is not a requirement, however you will have to hold a valid DBS. Without an up to date DBS you will not be allowed to work - Teaching Personnel can offer guidance on how to apply for this if needed.

All the schools we work with have a good standard of behaviour so you will not be placed in any environment too challenging and there will always be a teacher with you at all times.

Why become a Teaching Assistant?

If you are just starting out on your career as a future teacher this is the perfect opportunity for you to gain valuable experience. Teaching Assistant jobs will be great to support any PGCE applications.

Teaching Assistant roles are very rewarding, particularly if you work one-to-one with a vulnerable or challenging pupil and you can see them improve and progress.

Working with Teaching Personnel on a supply basis allows you to keep your diary flexible and just work when you want to work! Many of our Teaching Assistants are recent graduates who work a day or two alongside a Master's course or PGCE.

Benefits of Working with Teaching Personnel:

Working with us at Teaching Personnel Ltd you will have your own Personal Recruitment Consultant dedicated to finding you work and offering support at all times.

At Teaching Personnel we care about all our candidates and want to ensure you are paid a fair and competitive rate. The pay for this role will be between £55-70 a day dependant on experience.

Other benefits of working with us include:

  • Flexibility to work in schools local to you
  • Access to our CPD Academy
  • Weekly Pay
  • Pension Scheme

Please call Jake on 01273 734 571 to talk more about this role or sent me your CV.
