Lower KS2 Class Teachers, Leeds

Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the new academic year (5th November 2018). The post will be in Lower Key Stage 2 and will be part-time (3-4 days per week) in the first instance. The school is located in Seacroft, just a short journey away from the Leeds City Centre with accessible and direct public transport routes to and from the school. The role will be initially for 1 term but is likely to run until the end of the academic year.

Ideal candidate's

The school are looking for a:

• Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching in Lower KS2
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Teaching (NQTs are invited to apply)
• Available part-time (3-4 days per week)
• Valid and current DBS on the Update Service

School

The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2018 and this year and received above 60% in the SATs across the entire school. Numeracy is a subject which Lower KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering numeracy interventions and with Singapore Maths. The class has a mixed group of children who vary in ability and strengths. There are 2 children with a 121 support in the classroom and behaviour is generally pretty good.
