EYFS Early Years Practitioner – Primary School in Hayle
Start Date: 1st February 2026
Contract Type: Ongoing supply (via Teaching Personnel)
Pay: £89 -95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Working Pattern: Flexible – full-time and part-time opportunities available
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Hayle to recruit an enthusiastic EYFS Early Years Practitioner. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children in the earliest stages of their education within a nurturing, engaging environment.
A Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or Early Years is highly desirable, and the school is keen to welcome practitioners who are confident in supporting learning through play and early development frameworks.
About the Role:

Supporting children within EYFS (Nursery and Reception)

Delivering age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework

Supporting children’s social, emotional and developmental needs
-
Working closely with class teachers and EYFS staff
-
Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Observing and contributing to children’s progress and development
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in Health & Social Care, Childcare or Early Years
✔ Experience working within EYFS settings
✔ A warm, patient and child-centred approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Flexible availability to support school needs
✔ A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
