Level 3 Teaching Assistant Required

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a level three teaching assistant to join a double form entry primary school located in Norwich. This school consists of 157 pupils and is rated "good" by Offstead. You would be supporting the teacher of a year 5 class so experience working with KS2 pupils would be hugely beneficial. You would be supporting the teacher with the daily running of the class, this would include supporting pupils with the work set out by the teacher on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Behaviour and classroom management, classroom organisation.

The ideal candidate

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous EYFS, KS1 and KS” experience
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
