A Secondary Head Teacher from an Alternative Provision in the Woking, Surrey are seeking multiple Learning Support Assistants

The School is smaller than your average school and caters for KS3/KS4 groups with around 80 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ASC, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours - many of these pupils are no longer able to remain in mainstream education. The School are seeking hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Learning Support Assistants to work alongside the Teacher in managing behaviour and assisting with school work. 

The candidate will ideally be MAPA trained or willing to undertake the course within the next few months. The candidate must be hard working, resilient and confident in working with pupils who may display difficult behaviours, to succeed you need to be flexible, energetic and dynamic. 

 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 70 per day 

- Long term/Permanent positions available 

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ASC, ADHD and ODD 

- Access to TP's CPD academy; which includes Team Teach training
