This school is a popular Catholic Primary school with caring, courteous children and a friendly committed staff team. They are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about children's learning and emotional wellbeing, to work alongside our experienced teaching staff. The successful candidate will be required to support children with additional needs, in order to enable them to fully access the teaching and learning to reach their potential. At times this will include working with groups of children, both in and outside of the classroom, under the guidance of the class teacher and special needs coordinator.

Desirable:

• Enthusiasm and determination to make a difference to pupil progress
• Previous experience of working with children with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Essential:

• Enthusiastic about working with vulnerable children
• Passionate about meeting children's learning needs
• Good English and Mathematics skills
• Good standard of spoken English
• A good communicator and team member who is caring, flexible and approachable

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Inclusion Manager/Class Teacher to support groups and individual pupils.
