Teaching Personnel are searching for Learning Support Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis in mainstream primary schools in Washington and the surrounding areas. We are working with several Primary schools who need additional support for their pupils in looked after care and with challenging behaviours.
You will be assigned to work closely with a pupil for at least the remainder of the academic year, pupils on roll are predominently in Key Stage 3. The roles are full time and you will have the support of the class teacher and teaching assistants within the class. Ideally, knowledge of de-escalation, trauma and attachment disorder and SEMH is compulsory and Team Teach training is desirable. You will be available between the hours of 8:30 and 3:30, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
