Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Openshaw that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher from September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a key role in preparing pupils for the challenges and opportunities of upper Key Stage 2.

The Role
As the successful Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire pupils and support their progress. You will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Track, assess, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all learners.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who is passionate about education and committed to helping children reach their full potential. Applicants should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- A sound understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a school team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
