Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Blackley to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time role starting in September.

The Role
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition into their final year of primary education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that align with the National Curriculum
- Creating a stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to learn
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations for all pupils
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil achievement
- Contributing to the wider school community and participating in ongoing professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with Year 5 experience desirable
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Has a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Can effectively differentiate lessons to support all learners
- Is committed to raising standards and helping pupils achieve their full potential
- Brings energy, creativity, and a positive attitude to the classroom
- Values teamwork and enjoys contributing to a collaborative school culture

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
