Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity | Moston | September Start
Location: Moston
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full-Time
Teaching Personnel is excited to be working in partnership with a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Moston, who are looking to appoint a motivated and dedicated Year 5 Teacher from September.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential while contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
About the Role
As the Year 5 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes
- Differentiate learning to meet the individual needs of all learners
- Foster pupils' confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support pupil success
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events
About You
We're seeking a passionate and committed teacher who can inspire, motivate, and support pupils throughout their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- A valid Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Level 2 Safeguarding training, or willingness to complete training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
