Learning Support Assistant
Burnley Primary School (BB11)
Full time hours TA hours, 8:30 – 15:30

Experience working within KS2 and supporting the National Curriculum is highly sought after.
Experience supporting pupils of a challenging nature and excellent classroom based references within the last twelve months are essential for this role.
Full time role 5 days a week from January 2021, with the potential to secure a long term/perm role in school
Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate teaching assistant, to working within a Burnley Primary School (BB11). The position is to start from mid-March (dependent on schools returning) and run until July 2021, with the opportunity to secure a longer term/permanent contract. The role will require the successful candidate to provide support for a number of ‘challenging & lively’ Year 3 classes, working closely with children with Behavioural Difficulties.
The Head Teacher is keen to see candidates who are passionate about working within education and have a calm and nurturing personality. It is essential that candidates are able to work within a challenging environment and can confidently support pupils with complex and additional needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. Staff within school are described as friendly, happy and extremely hard working. Experience working within KS2 and excellent classroom-based references within the last twelve months are essential for this role.
The role will start on a supply basis, and for the right candidate, the may be the option of a school contract. The role is being funded by the school catch-up funding, with KS2 being highlighted as the main focus within the schools improvement plan.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
