Pay: £13.75 per hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN primary school in the Winchester area. You will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop confidence and build essential skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Offering 1:1 and small-group support to children with various SEN needs

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons

  • Helping pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social development

  • Creating a positive, nurturing and supportive learning environment

  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (SEN experience a bonus but not essential)

  • A patient, caring and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young learners

  • Flexibility with working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
