 Learning Support Assistant – SEN Primary School (Basingstoke) 
Pay: £13.75 per hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive SEN primary school in the Basingstoke area. You will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, offering tailored support to help them access learning and develop important life skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support to children with a variety of SEN needs

  • Assisting the class teacher with engaging, accessible learning activities

  • Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and social interaction

  • Helping create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider school staff

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

  • A patient, caring and proactive attitude

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners

  • Availability for flexible working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
