 Ad Hoc Learning Support Assistant – SEN School, Waterlooville 
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

Teaching Personnel are seeking a caring, patient, and committed Ad Hoc Learning Support Assistant to support a specialist SEN school in Waterlooville. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.

About the Role:

  • Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils with SEND (including autism, ADHD, communication needs, or learning difficulties)

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated activities

  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

  • Provide flexible, ad hoc cover depending on school requirements

We’re Looking For:

  • Someone compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic

  • Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but full training can be provided)

  • A calm, supportive approach to behaviour and emotional needs

  • Availability to start ASAP

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
