Learning Support Assistant required for Oldham secondary school
Due to an increase in the number of students for the upcoming academic year, our client school in Oldham are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join them on a full time basis from September. This post will be supporting one specific student, and would be ideal for someone who has experience in a similar position.

- Earn up to £325 per week (weekly pay)

In this post as a learning support assistant, it will involve working 1:1 to support the progression and development of a student who has mild Autism and displays a number of signs of MLD. The incoming learning support assistant will work and develop through the clear direction of the SENCo and faculty leaders in ensuring the student can access the curriculum, there are no behavioural difficulties but there is a need for support on focusing on education and gaining self-esteem in social interaction.
The ideal candidate for this post as an Learning Support assistant will be patient and resilient, and have previous experience or knowledge in the strategies of supporting students who display MLD. The post will be starting September, and due to the needs of the student, it is expected that it will continue for the duration of the academic year, and the school are asking only those who are willing to commit to the length of this position to apply to the post.
