Job description

Learning Support Assistant – Driver Required – Full Time – Manchester

Location: M9

Do you hold a full UK driving licence and want a varied and active role supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist provision is seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to support students both in the classroom and during off-site educational activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis

  • Assisting with community-based learning

  • Promoting independence and life skills

  • Helping students engage with education through practical activities

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Access to a vehicle

  • Availability for full-time work

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable, proactive and engaging

  • Builds strong professional relationships

  • Has experience working with young people or vulnerable adults

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
