Learning Mentor needed in Launceston for September

Teaching Personnel are working with a small School in Launceston for Secondary and Primary Pupils. We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Mentor working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The role will be supporting pupils across Key Stages 1,2,3 & 4, working with 5-16 year old's.

Experience is not essential

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong presence and excellent behaviour management

DBS Childworkforce only that is registered with the update service

Can remain calm in stressful situations

Is fun and outgoing

Full Clean Driving Licence

Role: Working 1:1 with students who may show challenging behaviours throughout the day. In the morning you will be assisting in the classroom with core subjects such as; Maths, English and Science. In the afternoons you will be going on Outdoor Education trips every afternoon apart of their reward schemes. The students rewards are things such as: swimming, trampolining, Football, bowling, Woodland trips, aquarium etc.

Hours: 08:30-15:30 5 days a week

Pay: £65 per day + Mileage when you take students out of school and to attend training.

Location: Launceston

Role: Learning Mentor

Duration: Permenant
