Job description
SEMH Teaching Assistant – Norwich
Looking for a role where you truly make an impact? We’re recruiting resilient, confident SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in specialist schools across Norwich and north of the city.
You’ll work with young people (Year 1–11) who follow personalised education pathways outside mainstream settings, helping create structure, stability, and positive outcomes every day.
You’ll need to:

Support pupils with complex academic and behavioural needs

Manage behaviour calmly and consistently
-
Build strong, respectful relationships
-
Thrive in fast-paced environments
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
