Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Ideal for Sports Graduates
Are you a recent sports graduate looking to make a real impact beyond the pitch? We’re recruiting enthusiastic, resilient and motivated individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in specialist school settings, including SEN (Special Educational Needs), SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), Alternative Provision and PRUs (Pupil Referral Units).
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your coaching, teamwork and leadership skills to support young people who need positive role models and consistent encouragement to succeed.
The Role:

Supporting students with additional needs in and out of the classroom

Delivering structured physical activities and engagement sessions
-
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Building strong, professional relationships with students and staff
-
Assisting teachers with learning support and classroom management
We’re looking for:

A degree in Sports, Coaching, Physical Education or a related field
-
Experience working with young people (coaching, mentoring, tutoring or similar)
-
Resilience, patience and strong communication skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
