Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Leigh
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
A friendly and supportive primary school in Leigh is looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across the primary age range and play a key role in helping them thrive both academically and personally.
The Role:

Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
-
Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
-
Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required
-
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Assist with classroom preparation and general school duties
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
-
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
-
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
