About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking organised, professional, and proactive School Administrators to support busy secondary school offices. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school and providing a welcoming first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous administrative experience who are looking to work in an education setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the school office
-
Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally
-
Greet visitors and manage reception duties
-
Maintain accurate student records and data systems
-
Support attendance monitoring and reporting
-
Assist with admissions and student documentation
-
Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies
-
Support senior leadership and pastoral teams with administrative tasks
What We Are Looking For

Previous administrative experience (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
-
Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication
-
Confident using Microsoft Office and school data systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor – desirable)
-
Professional, approachable, and reliable manner
-
Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
Requirements

GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
-
Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
