Lead Teacher of Art and Technology (Temp to Perm)

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, having completed the PGCE or SCITT course as a route to QTS, and will have good knowledge of the Art or Technology KS3 to KS4 Curriculum. The School follows the AQA specification from GCSE level. 

This is one of the most popular secondary schools in the Buckinghamshire area and prides itself on being oversubscribed every year for school places. The school have growing student numbers and currently offer high quality education to KS3, and will expand into KS4 in September. 

The Ofsted is currently 'Good' but is establishing itself to be graded as Outstanding in their next inspection and have a growing English department. 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong classroom management
  • Good sense of humour
  • Good motivational skills, especially for KS3
  • Good knowledge of IT based learning
  • Excellent Science knowledge
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Open to NQT's
